Canon increases its presence at drupa with the show's fourth largest stand
LONDON, 9 February 2012 – At this year’s drupa (3-16 May, Düsseldorf) Canon will confirm its position as a leading supplier to the digital printing market with its largest ever stand.  At 3,750 m², the Canon stand (Hall 8a, Stand C06 – 1), which will also incorporate Océ as part of the Canon Group, is the fourth largest at drupa and will dominate Hall 8a

The stand’s focus will be on inspiring customers to see the bigger picture and the business opportunities it presents, especially in growth areas such as cross media communications. Canon will showcase innovative applications and highlight customer successes on the stand. In addition, Canon will provide new research and insight to help its customers better understand their own customers, the buyers of print.

With the full range of Canon and Océ technology, from image capture to output, on display, customers will have access to the broadest portfolio of innovative professional print products and solutions available.  Whether the requirement is for mono or color, inkjet or toner, high speed or outstanding print quality, A4 or large format, standalone device or multiple engines managed by a production workflow, Canon has the solution.

David Preskett, European Professional Print Director, Canon Europe, says: “The depth of expertise and technology that Canon and Océ can now offer is very exciting, so for visitors to drupa who are looking for inspiration, I’d urge them to come to the Canon stand to see that there’s much more to print than printing.  As well as observing the latest Canon and Océ technology in action, they’ll also have access to valuable advice from independent business consultants and to fascinating insights about their customers.  Add to that the more than one hundred customer success stories and print applications that will be on display, and the Canon stand should be on the itinerary of every visitor looking for new opportunities to grow their business.”
