Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Ricoh ScanSnap SV600

Q: When scanning thick books with the ScanSnap SV600, will the output file be difficult to read at the curved spine area?
A: Not at all. The bundled ScanSnap Home software includes an advanced Book Curve Correction function. It detects distortions at the spine and curved edges of thick books, then digitally adjusts the image to flatten the page into a clean, straight sheet. This ensures text and data are always 100% clear and readable, just like a regular page.

Q: How does the ScanSnap Cloud function benefit file sharing within an organization?
A: ScanSnap Cloud greatly enhances workflow efficiency. It allows scanned documents, receipts, business cards, or images to be uploaded directly to popular cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. This enables team members to access, edit, and collaborate seamlessly on a centralized database, improving productivity and data management.
